Routine prenatal ultrasound examination (performed at week 35) showed a solid, heterogeneous right adrenal mass measuring 24 × 22 mm. A 3120-g male infant was born by Cesarean section at 39 weeks of gestation. Postnatal computerized tomography (CT) and ultrasound scan confirmed a right solid adrenal mass with blood flow within the lesion measuring 42 × 40 mm. A 24-h urine collection for measurement of vanilmandelic acid and catecholamine levels was negative and neuroblastoma was deemed most likely. To get the chance of Spontaneous Resolution of the mass, he waited 4 weeks and ultrasound scan revealed an increase in the size of the mass measuring 65 × 50 mm. The infant underwent total resection of the tumor at 34 days of age. Pathological examination reported an encapsulated neuroblastoma with favorable histology according to Shimada’s criteria for histology. Also Bone Marrow Aspiration, Liver Biopsy and MYCN amplification were Negative. Post Operation ultrasound scans showed normal abdomen. 

 

here is the patient with neuroblastoma, the tumor was completely excised, I send you the history. I would appreciate to know your opinion about chemotherapy, whether  it is necessary or not.
